Work

Saeed has more than 18 years of progressive experience in both consulting and construction sectors (bridges, rapid transit systems, and buildings). He has experience in designing, analyzing, rehabilitating, and detailing various types of steel and prestressed bridges and major infrastructure such as underground stations and tunnels. Saeed has conducted many structural projects as Project Manager and Lead Structural Engineer, and is involved in developing the design concept of the projects and providing technical expertise to the structural teams. He has an extensive seismic background including nonlinear time history, performance-based design, and base isolation systems. As a part of his PhD program, he developed an Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) system which has been used in many states.

Outside of work, Saeed enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, snowshoeing, traveling and gardening.
