Local Agency Bridge Scoping Projects – Region 1 and Region 5

ODOT contracted with Exeltech to develop scopes of service for potential local agency bridge projects. Exeltech compiled accurate cost estimates and engineering data to ensure scheduling is on target, assessed impacts of right-of-way issues, and identified potential environmental issues prior to project programming into the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. Exeltech provided project construction cost estimates, establishment of design standards, estimates of right of way impacts, utility impacts, field notes, and site photography for eight bridges in ODOT’s Region 1 (Clackamas, Multnomah and Hood River Counties and eastern Washington County) and Region 5 (Eastern Oregon). Scoping services were completed in accordance with ODOT’s very specific General Expectations to obtain the greatest long-term value for the State, reflecting the prudent expenditure of public funds within the constraints of the project, program, context, and budget.
