Lauridsen Boulevard Intersection Improvements

Exeltech managed the design of two federally funded intersection improvement projects, including preliminary and final design of the redevelopment of the intersection at Lauridsen Boulevard and Race Street and preliminary design for a roundabout at the intersection where Lauridsen Boulevard meets Lincoln and Laurel Streets. The Lauridsen/Lincoln/Laurel Street Intersection project included changing the vertical alignment at the intersection to reduce grade, improving sight distance, and providing ADA access; stormwater management for detention and water quality for runoff to Peabody Creek (a fish-bearing stream); developing traffic control and construction staging plans; and coordinating and relocating utilities to include overhead power, water, and gas.
